Located at 1275 Post Road (Route 1), BWT provides chef-inspired American cuisine in an eclectic and ambient atmosphere, complete with dark furnishings, one-of-a-kind artwork, leather banquet-style seating and a large and luxurious Maplewood bar.

On the menu, you’ll find a wide variety of lighter fare such as salads and sandwiches as well as heartier entrees like braised pork belly, steak frites, seared Scottish salmon, and even chargrilled octopus.

BWT’s Facebook reviews provide some insight into how the foods and flavors resonated with first-time guests:

“Warm atmosphere and friendly staff. Great bar scene and the food is on point! Love the “chefs inspirations” side of the menu. You can’t go wrong with anything you choose,” said Christina Alessandro in an Oct. 16 review.

You’ll also find that BWT takes pride in its mixology, offering a wide variety of cocktails. Visitors can sit by the fireplace and sip on handcrafted creations like the “7 Deadly Sins,” made with Papalote peach infused mescal, Combier, passion fruit puree, fresh lime juice and brown sugar walnut syrup. Also available are craft beers as well as locally made kombucha on tap and a curated global wine list.

Some of BWT’s most popular selections have been the French Dip burger and the truffle and short rib mac and cheese.

“The chef also does specials, which are always innovative and popular with locals looking to try something very seasonal,” hospitality publicist Andrea Viscuso told the Daily Voice.

BWT opens for business each day at 11:30 a.m. The restaurant closes at 9 p.m. on Sunday through Wednesday, 10 p.m. on Thursday, and 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. For more information, visit its website.
